Theme Nights - Once a month we schedule a theme night. Themes vary from "Dress as Your Favorite Bible Character" to "Crazy Hair Night." Advance notice will be given so that each child may participate. Theme nights are always a fun time!
Awana Grand Prix - The first Awana Grand Prix took place around 1970. In the year 2000, approximately 175,000 boys and girls competed in over 5,000 race events in the US. Boys and girls, Cubbies through Commanders build Pinewood Derby style cars and race head to head on a state of the art track complete with electronic timing and scoring. Its a great time for parents and clubbers to spend time together designing and building the "perfect" car.
Spark-a-Rama / Awana Games - This regional competition pits clubs from far and wide against each other in a spirit of fun and sportsmanship. The familiar circle games such as the Sparky Crawl and Tug of War are taken to the next level.
Bible Quiz - Bible Quizzing is open to young people in third through 12th grade. This event motivates students to increase their Bible knowledge while giving participants, leaders and even parents an intense exposure to Scripture. Bible Quizzing tests students’ knowledge of material in handbooks and manuals and provides individual recognition and awards.
Journey Summit - Summit is an international gathering of high school age young adults for circle games, fine arts, speech, writing and Bible Quizzing competition. The 2007 Summit will be held in Denver, Colorado from March 31 - April 3.
